Method Vodoo

It is constantly cold here. Actually -5 degress at 8am. Sometimes it snows a little bit, but usually it is not worth to mention. Snow on the sidewalks is by now that compressed that you might be able to skate to university without a problem.
Looking back at the past three days nothing specific has happened. From monday I remember badminton and sauna. Tuesday was a staying-home day. Yesterday I got my first feedback about my thesis. In 3 months. But it seems things are rolling now. The thesis is "method vodoo" but not a hopeless case. That's more than I have expected. Todays tasks: writing CV, writing applications , and writing thesis, of course.
At the weekend there is a vodka-party announced at Norrmalms. We all shall share vodka. To "get wasted like one big family". Yeah, right... seems like I've been to long away from home.
Yesterday the skiweek has also been booked. We are one week too late for getting the accomodation I prefered. Damnit. But at least we are living next to a ski-track that I assume to lead us directly to the slopes. Hopefully. Otherwise we have a looooong way down. No fun walking with all the equipment.

Fourth day at Härnösand

This was used to be our free day. Somehow the sunday passed by quicker than the days before. After the party at night i left already at 11 o'clock i walked to the universitiy for internet. But when i arrived, the internet was down. I have waited for 2 hours, but it didn't come back. So i had to walk 15 minutes back to the hostel without having done anything usefull. When i arrived i heard the internet was up again. Arg, why didn' stay in bed before?! After my second visit at the u niversity (internet was realy online), it was afternoon and Jana, Klara, Katerina, Denis and i decided to walk to the east coast of the island to see the open sea. On our way we met Phil who joined our trip. We walked about an our until we arrived at a small village "Gånsvik" at the east coast. We climbed on several rocks. The landscape was great. After four hours at all we were back at the hostel. Nothing more happend and i was realy tired from walking so went to bed early again.

Back to the places you will be from

The last day in Sweden went pretty well. After the morning I was finished with everything I had to fix. I brought back all my books to the library, picked up my copies of my diploma thesis, picked up the last stuff from my office, said good bye to Aron, changed my address at the Skatteverket, canceled my bank account and was back at Nacksta before 2pm. At 7pm I've been at Norrmalms and helped Marlies and Annemiek baking appelflappen . But I was rather useless than an effective support. Especially at half past 7 when my last Friends episode in Sweden started. The last for me. Since 8 I was sitting in the basement waiting for people. I do not know exactly when, but I think the first arrived at 9. And it was really nice. And I got the nicest present I could imagine. Well, I could not imagine it before! It is a memory game with pictures of all student from last semester. No picture is twice, so the game is about finding two different pictures of the same person. It even has a box title...
