The Happiest

Yesterday I was sitting with Basti in the living room waiting with a can of beer for my birthday. At midnight he and Ulrich, Philipp, Anna and Line suprised me with a cake, tart and presents. I was very happy they suprised me. We were sitting until half past one at the living room and talking. One new topic is the coming ski-week. Suddenly I got the opportunity to get a place and I took it (Thanks to Inga who thought about me!). I expect to meet a few EILC-people there, too. Because of this skiweek there won't be any blog entries from me from saturday until at least thursday next week.
Today I finished my bureaucraty stuff. And I went to town preparing me for the skiweek. Now I have ski trousers which I found at the second hand shop Myrorna. And I found some good gloves since I lost my old ones on saturday at the university. They would have been to thick anyway...
Tomorrow will be Basti's last day in his room. Because he will come back for just one or two days after the skiweek he has to leave his room tomorrow. I would like him to stay... But before he leaves to Germany we will have a very good ski-week!

Friday Night

Wednesday and thursday where only university days. My robot can walk now from A to B and reacts properly to simple obstacles. But he has a problem with bigger obstacles. Those, who are interested in it: I covered the pathfinding algorithm from the algorithm for Bresenham-lines and added some simple reactions to obstacles. But I think I have to redesign it, because of the big-obstacle-problem. He needs a memory where he has already been on his path and he needs to calculate the path before he starts to walk on it. On friday I did nothing special. I phoned StuBo for moving to 16B, I could only speak on a recorder. Better luck next time. I also contacted my home university for some bureucracy stuff. I guess this will never end until I would leave Germany. Not that I plan to do it (I hear the rumors arising again). But I hate this German behaviour first to think about rising for denying service. For my financial support from the state, I need two applications from the university. But the d...

Vi ses

Almost a week past since my last entry. So it is time for a summary: Weekend: At weekend we got visitors from Östersund. I enjoyed meeting my friends again. We visited Sundsvall, cooked together and ate and drank. Weekend past to quickly for me. It was far too short. But next weekends will be revivals, too. Week: The week started annoying. Bureaucracy everywhere. Damn annoying. But at least i got a contract from Mittuniversitetet for my master, so i will stay enrolled here until end of january 2008. Now i have to tell Aachen about my plans. I hope they won't try to stop me. I would like to make my diploma there as well my master here. This week is the first week with free days. Tuesday and Thursday are/were free for me, because i had no lessons. But i still wonder how quick time passes. I remember my last year in Aachen and i did so many things on one day, always working, always in a hurry, but here... i don't know. At the end of day i just can count a view things i did during ...
