Last Friday was a good-bye party at the italian flat. It was the last night were their sculpture made of cans has been fed with additional beer cans. During the night everybody could give a guess how many cans has been collected over the months. The result will be given at the end of this week. But first assumptions show a result slightly more than 1000 as most likely. Almost everybody guessed more than 2000. We are looking forward. The party itself was nice. It really started at around 1am and I stayed until 5 in the morning. Once again we got a good impression what happens if Spanish are in party mood :) Proof by Ward.
Saturday was therefor quiet. I wrote further on my thesis. Although it feels more and more like ridiciolous content, I think I can bring this to a formal end in the coming 6 weeks. If I do not sleep too much. I have no clue what's going on with me at the moment. Did I consider a few weeks ago 6 hours of sleep as very long, it is now the total opposite. I sleep so long. And regardless when I touch my matrace I sleep immediately again. Really deep and for hours. On Saturday afternoon I thought about taking a nap. 5 hours later I woke up and Jens told me he tried to wake me, but he couldn't because I did not respond at all. It was half past 9 and he wanted to know if I would like to join to Skeppsbrokällaren. Half past 9! 5 hours deep sleep! Incredible. But I was fit for the night. We went to the bar we have not been since months. I think the erasmus students visited it only two or three times right in the beginning of the semester. And the music was really good. We should go there more often. But in fact, there are hardly opportunities left.
Distribution of accomodations in Nacksta are a shell game. Sebastians room had be given to a new student that is arriving on Wednesday from Italy. After several shifting (Sebastian into Jens' room or not) he will get my room and I have to move into the living room one week before I leave to Germany. Looks like this semester starts like the last have ended. With a lot of people who share for a short period one flat. But this time it is me who will leave.
But before that the new semester has to start. This week most of the new students will arrive. I used my birthday for opportunity to invite everybody on next Friday. When I sent out the email I was impressed. 49 new students. That will be a lot of people. Most seem to come from Germany, Netherlands, Italy and France. Almost no other countrys as far as I could guess from the names. Poland, Hungary, USA and Canada. A few already responded. So funny. Some of them know students from last year. They come from all over the world and know some people I met, too.
