Time to say good bye

This was the hardest day of the whole course. I would have liked to eat one year surströmming instead of seeing the course ending.

But the day started with an "Top of the pops" på svenska, where we voted for our most beloved swedish songs. But first Hans song "Weine nicht kleine Eva" from the german "Flippers", because we told him a week before "Sommaren är kort" would sound like a Flippers-Song.
For lunch we got some real good swedish food, far better than surströmming. And after the lunch, the highlight of the program started: our suprise for Ella, Hans and Björn. First the song "Zehn nackte Friseusen" was teached and song in EILC-style, followed by a funny sock-thearter. Second, an usual day at the course was adapted. Third, Seb covered Chuck Berry's "Dingeling" gratly to "Learning"! After that, Martin and Nicola had a grate sketch with teaching Ella, Hans and Björn the Muppet song "Mana-Mana". The following german, tjeck, italian and portuguese tonguetwister were also funny. But the last performance was a spoken "Good bye"-letter for Ella, Hans and Björn. It was a realy hard thing to stand it. At least erveryone got a huge hug and than it was over. Three weeks EILC are gone. Over. Never ever again. Aldrig nånsin en gång till.

I already saw the rooms for the students of Härnösand. They are nice, and the architecture of the building is new to me again. All in all, the swedish inner architecture is very open and nice. I hope, i will like my accomodation in Sundsvall, too. But it will be much more expensive than the rooms in Härnösand. The rooms cost each ~160 €, my room in Sundsvall will be up to 270 €.

At the end of the day, we had a big party at the hostel. I did not see the end of the party, but i heard, that our silent-shy teacher-assistant Björn had some "scary" performances.

That was the EILC 2006; the TILLSAMMANS - group.

Friday Night

Wednesday and thursday where only university days. My robot can walk now from A to B and reacts properly to simple obstacles. But he has a problem with bigger obstacles. Those, who are interested in it: I covered the pathfinding algorithm from the algorithm for Bresenham-lines and added some simple reactions to obstacles. But I think I have to redesign it, because of the big-obstacle-problem. He needs a memory where he has already been on his path and he needs to calculate the path before he starts to walk on it. On friday I did nothing special. I phoned StuBo for moving to 16B, I could only speak on a recorder. Better luck next time. I also contacted my home university for some bureucracy stuff. I guess this will never end until I would leave Germany. Not that I plan to do it (I hear the rumors arising again). But I hate this German behaviour first to think about rising for denying service. For my financial support from the state, I need two applications from the university. But the d...

Vi ses

Almost a week past since my last entry. So it is time for a summary: Weekend: At weekend we got visitors from Östersund. I enjoyed meeting my friends again. We visited Sundsvall, cooked together and ate and drank. Weekend past to quickly for me. It was far too short. But next weekends will be revivals, too. Week: The week started annoying. Bureaucracy everywhere. Damn annoying. But at least i got a contract from Mittuniversitetet for my master, so i will stay enrolled here until end of january 2008. Now i have to tell Aachen about my plans. I hope they won't try to stop me. I would like to make my diploma there as well my master here. This week is the first week with free days. Tuesday and Thursday are/were free for me, because i had no lessons. But i still wonder how quick time passes. I remember my last year in Aachen and i did so many things on one day, always working, always in a hurry, but here... i don't know. At the end of day i just can count a view things i did during ...
