Yesterday was the "Good Bye"-dinner of the exchange students in Sundsvall. My second Good-Bye-dinner this week. But this time it was just a usual party. Nobody thought about seeing each other again. Just singing and drinking. But it was a good party. The meal was excellent. And the wine, too. Everybody had a secret task to absolve. My task was to speak as much swedish as possible. After the dinner we went at midnight to O'learys, but in the way Magnus told me it would cost entrance so I turned and went back home. Phil has the best pictures.
This morning was very hard to get up. I had swedish lesson at 9:15. And I was the only one, so I had a nice talk with Ella talking about speed limits in Germany and Sweden and things like that. After that I attended the Swedish1-Course. In Swedish2 I always think of I am unable to say the easiest swedish sentences. But in Swedish1 I realized, that I already learned a lot. After more than 3 hours swedish I had predicate logic. And this time, logic was hard. I could follow, but I had my problems with it (at least because I was so tired). Now I have realized the difference between an A and an B course. I never had a course in Germany which was as "easy" as an swedish A course. But the B courses are least as tough as my lessons at home, I guess. I have a new homework to do. Until friday next week. Reading a whole book from James G.March (remember: The Art Of Bullshitbingo in September) and summerize it. I don't know, why I still attend this course. Others have changed to databases or something interesting. I am the only one who did not know we could change. Now it is too late.
After having slept in the afternoon, we had Salsa in the evening. And it was great! I had so much fun that I stood longer for dancing on. But at quarter to ten there were not enough girls left, so Basti and I went home. But I still have so much adrinaline from the Salsa. Next week, there will be the Salsa dinner with a Salsa-party after that. At the beginning of the party at 9pm the teacher will teach possible newcomers basic steps and then... dancing! So, even if you did not attend in the salsa course: come and dance! It will be fun. I guess, we will also have at least one visitor from Östersund there. Yes!
