A boring week. Since tuesday I have a slight cold. I hope it will be gone tomorrow, because it is weekend and few cool events promise to bring fun. Yesterday I have not been to salsa, because I wanted to avoid to cough all the time. That's not polite during a dance. But I wished I had been there. It would have been so much fun. In the evening I tried the spanish birthday party, I wasn't able to stand longer than one hour. I sweat and I felt cold and hot at the same time. I went home, trieing to sleep, but that was not fine either. I hope, I will be fine tomorrow. There will be a pot lock party. I don't know what to bring. Afterwards will be a german carneval party. According to rumors with carneval karaokee. Cool.
Today I visited the universtiy just for taking my exam home. In Sweden you are allowed to take your exam home. You have to sign for taking it and than you are allowed to do. I remember when I asked my chief of my department at the first year in Aachen for my exam. He just laughed and alleged I would like to correct mistakes to accuse him not having counted all my points. I answered, I would sign for taking it. No chance. It was not possible, just because it's not usual. That's german. But here in Sweden they do it like this. You go to the secratery, ask for your exam, sign for receiving and go home. According to rumors I am the only international student who passed the exam in Decision Theory. I don't want to believe that, but it seems to be true.
Oh, and I found a Doppelkopf-group to play with. The problem in Doppelkopf is, you need 4 players. And if you have 4 players, everybody knows different special rules., so we had to negotiate about the rules. I lost my 9's in the game. Because of this it is more deterministical like Skat, because the cards are less spread. But this is alright for me. It makes thinking easier. But I lost the Scheinwchen-rule (piggies-rule). The rule why I play this cardgame! Because two weak cards (the foxes), everybody wants to hunt down to gain extra points, become the most powerfull (piggies) if you have both of them. And now I have to play without this rule. And I had to learn more rules. At the beginning I was a little bit frustrated, because the game seemed to be very deterministical with the new rules, because without 9's you have no choice which card you want to play, so it just wins the team with the best cards, not with the best tactic. But in the end, it was ok. There are still opportunities to choose what to play. The new rules are fine. But I still prefer my old rules. And now I practice. I would like to combine some new rules with my old. So, everybody at home: take care. We will have to play alot when I will be back!
