Last Train

Yesterday, Basti and I had just swedish lesson at 10:15. But we both slept until 9:55. Don't ask me how this could happen. We switched our alarmclocks off at 9:00 and forgot about it. No, we don't sleep in the same bed or room.
But it was possible to reach the lesson at 10:20. At swedish we watched the movie "Kopps". It is almost with the same actor group like in "Jalla, Jalla!" which we had watched during the EILC. But "Kopps" is absurd. The crew must have had a lot of crazy ideas, appending them to a movie. Some were funny, but most the time it was absurd. Well, it was our fault. We wished this movie, because we heard from it. After the lessen we made an exkursion to Subway. Everytime when I am at Subway I try to order in swedish. Everything is alright until I reach the guy with the sauces and the guy at the cash desk. They always recognize me as "not-swedish" and talk english with me. Because of this, I asked Ella for practicing Subway-ordering in a roleplay, but she did not know Subway. This is why we made this excursion. And now, she knows it and we can practice.
Thanks to Philipp I were able to install my desktop computer. Before I had two broken CD-floppys, so I were not able to reinstall Windows. And because of this, I reactivated my RSA project I had started last year. It is a stupid idea, but power is for free in sweden, so now my computer will do nothing else than calculating RSA-problems with an algorithm I invented. It is not realisitic that it will solve a big RSA-problem, it is a unusual way to do it. Perhaps I found a solution by accident. Although the actual smallest unsolved RSA-problem has 704 digital digits, the computer will has to determin a solution for RSA-100 this weekend. This number was solved in 1991 in a few days. I hope, a computer from the end of the 90's can make this in a few days, too. And I hope, it does it with my algorithm. Just for proofing it works. Now it is calculating since 4 hours, without any result. Before I will try RSA-704, I have to modify the program, so it makes a copy of its work every 15 minutes, so it does not have to start from the beginning after a blackout.
Tomorrow I will travel with the remaining EILC-people from Sundsvall to Östersund (Denns, Phil). The others are already there. For tomorrow will likely be the last almost-complete EILC meeting ever. Almost complete, because Elia, Joscha and Martin are already missing. Nevertheless, this will be a hightlight for all of us and everbody who is still not in Östersund cannot hardly wait for tomorrow. Because I will have a very important phone call on monday, I will be back at sunday night.

Back to the places you will be from

The last day in Sweden went pretty well. After the morning I was finished with everything I had to fix. I brought back all my books to the library, picked up my copies of my diploma thesis, picked up the last stuff from my office, said good bye to Aron, changed my address at the Skatteverket, canceled my bank account and was back at Nacksta before 2pm. At 7pm I've been at Norrmalms and helped Marlies and Annemiek baking appelflappen . But I was rather useless than an effective support. Especially at half past 7 when my last Friends episode in Sweden started. The last for me. Since 8 I was sitting in the basement waiting for people. I do not know exactly when, but I think the first arrived at 9. And it was really nice. And I got the nicest present I could imagine. Well, I could not imagine it before! It is a memory game with pictures of all student from last semester. No picture is twice, so the game is about finding two different pictures of the same person. It even has a box title...

Vi ses

Almost a week past since my last entry. So it is time for a summary: Weekend: At weekend we got visitors from Östersund. I enjoyed meeting my friends again. We visited Sundsvall, cooked together and ate and drank. Weekend past to quickly for me. It was far too short. But next weekends will be revivals, too. Week: The week started annoying. Bureaucracy everywhere. Damn annoying. But at least i got a contract from Mittuniversitetet for my master, so i will stay enrolled here until end of january 2008. Now i have to tell Aachen about my plans. I hope they won't try to stop me. I would like to make my diploma there as well my master here. This week is the first week with free days. Tuesday and Thursday are/were free for me, because i had no lessons. But i still wonder how quick time passes. I remember my last year in Aachen and i did so many things on one day, always working, always in a hurry, but here... i don't know. At the end of day i just can count a view things i did during ...
