I was sitting the whole day long in my room and was very lazing while doing... nothing. During dusk i decided to ask Sebastian for search for elks. Encouraged we went out searching the adventure at half past six in the evening. Our way was very interesting. It was a very warm wind out there. We missed the way we planned to go, so we took an tiny path through the wood. But the path leaded straight away from Sundsvall so at a forest aisle we decided to leave the path following the electric pylons on the aisle. But aside the path walking was never easy. Every stones and broken branches and brushes. Because of the brushes we always could only guess if the ground beneath them would be solid or not. But finding a way was our smallest problem. It was becoming dark - quickley. After a while we decided to follow a path leading through the wood, but after approximatly 200 meters we could feel our instincts: "Who has build this tiny path in the middle of nowhere?" - "Damn, i cannot see 5 meter in front of me, even not 1 meter aside me and its becoming darker." -... It started to be scary. So we turned back to the aisle and went on. After a long while we arrived at the crossroad of aisles we hoped to find. Believing to be on the right way, we turned left following the new aisle. It was almost totally dark now. But after few hundred meters i stucked up in mudd! At this point the aisle started to be a marsh! This was the next shock. Should we turn back walking back at least for one hour hoping to find the first tiny path we left before? We would have never found it so we made our way through the marshland in darkness. We collected each a cane to test the ground in front our feet and went on. After a while we passed huge clearance where forest worker must have cut the wood. Branches where lieing everywhere. And we could see Sundsvall far away. Now we noticed, that we where heading into the wrong direction and decided to enter the clearance. But when we entered something huge were braking throught the branches in front of us! We could not seen anything, but something was moving near in front of us through the darkness! Now it was very scary!!! We waited until our unkown companion (deer, elk, bear?) had left the clearance and went on. The clearance was really huge and we just walked on. Luckily we found a dead end of a road at the end of the clearance. This was real luck, because the road could have been started at any other point of the clearance! Happily we made a last picture from ourselves, hoping now finding our way home. And we found a road and the road we were able to follow in total darkness. After furhter endless time of walk we arrived a way for joggers. And this was good, because of the darkness in winter, every jogger way is lightened, even in deep forest! And i knew the way from our trip to Sidsjön two weeks ago. So we headed back home and arrived at perhaps 9 o'clock happily having survived this big adventure. Next time, we will take at least at flashlamp with us. And perhaps something to make fire, just in case...
The last day in Sweden went pretty well. After the morning I was finished with everything I had to fix. I brought back all my books to the library, picked up my copies of my diploma thesis, picked up the last stuff from my office, said good bye to Aron, changed my address at the Skatteverket, canceled my bank account and was back at Nacksta before 2pm. At 7pm I've been at Norrmalms and helped Marlies and Annemiek baking appelflappen . But I was rather useless than an effective support. Especially at half past 7 when my last Friends episode in Sweden started. The last for me. Since 8 I was sitting in the basement waiting for people. I do not know exactly when, but I think the first arrived at 9. And it was really nice. And I got the nicest present I could imagine. Well, I could not imagine it before! It is a memory game with pictures of all student from last semester. No picture is twice, so the game is about finding two different pictures of the same person. It even has a box title
